Two Teams-Two Cultures-OneHeart

On Thursday, February 18th, In Any Event Event Creation Specialists, orchestrated a promotional reception that Wynnwood Special Events had the honor of catering, for the very special movie, OneHeart. OneHeart is the moving, true story of two very different football teams who come together for one amazing night.

Gainesville State School's Tornadoes, the football team at the Texas state-run maximum security facility for 12-19 year olds, meets Grapevine Faith Christian School's Lions in the last game of the season. Thanks to all involved, the match-up became magic!

As game day approached, Grapevine Christian School's Coach Kris Hogan sent a mass email to the entire Faith community, asking them to participate in his wild idea...to join together and give the Gainesville boys their very first home team experience, complete with their own cheerleaders, band, spirit line and loud fans. What came as a bonus, was how the Gainesville boys experienced unconditional love, unparalleled sportsmanship and true acceptance for perhaps the first time in their lives, as well. Since this game was such an overwhelmingly positive success for all involved, the match-up, dubbed the OneHeart Bowl, is now held annually.

Everyone involved with that game, both on the field and off, had their lives changed that night. Check out the website and make plans to see this film. Your life will be changed, too!

The "heart and football stadium" inspired menu was creatively crafted by Executive Chef, John Maas.
